This website is published by ChildSafe.dev, Inc. for general information about RoseShield. It is not an offer to sell, a solicitation, a quotation, a specification, or a warranty of any kind, and it does not form part of any contract. Product descriptions state design intent and current direction. Features, capabilities, names, packaging, availability and pricing may change without notice. Where this website and a signed agreement differ, the agreement governs.

RoseShield has not commercially launched. The RoseShield Consumer App is in testing and is not on sale. RoseShield Messenger is in pilot with partner organizations. RoseShield Router, RoseShield Campus, and the iPhone and iPad version of the Consumer App are in development. The RoseShield SDK is available to developers for evaluation, and RoseShield Core is available to device and network partners on supported RoseShield-integrated Android and AOSP builds. Availability varies by country, partner, platform, device, carrier and firmware. Nothing on this site is a commitment to build, release, support or continue any product or feature.

Statements on this website that are not historical fact are forward-looking. RoseShield is a risk-detection and decision-support technology. It is probabilistic. It will produce false positives, and it will fail to detect some harmful interactions. No provider can guarantee that harmful content will be identified, held, blocked or reported, and ChildSafe.dev does not make that guarantee.

What RoseShield can see is bounded by where it is deployed. Coverage depends on the product, the operating system and its version, the device manufacturer, the permissions granted, the applications involved, the configuration chosen by the customer, and network connectivity. RoseShield does not decrypt end-to-end encrypted communications. Detection performance has not been independently verified and no performance figure published here should be treated as verified evidence; where we publish findings we will state the harm category, threshold and model version, including where the engine underperformed. Language support does not imply equivalent performance in every language.

RoseShield supplements adult supervision. It does not replace it.

ChildSafe.dev is a technology provider. RoseShield is not an emergency service, a reporting service, a counselling or clinical service, or a substitute for professional safeguarding, medical, psychological or legal advice. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

RoseShield does not determine whether conduct constitutes an offence, does not report to any authority on a customer’s behalf, and does not notify schools, other parents or third parties. Support resources referenced in alerts are provided for convenience and are not operated, endorsed or verified by ChildSafe.dev.

RoseShield detects and scores potential harm to a child, applies the thresholds configured by the customer, and surfaces flagged interactions to the customer’s designated safeguarding authority. All escalation, alert routing, notification, retention, reporting and safeguarding decisions — including any statutory reporting obligation, and the characterisation of conduct under local law — rest solely with the customer as the responsible party and data controller. ChildSafe.dev acts as operator and processor. Retention, residency and sub-processor disclosure are set per deployment in the operator agreement.

Where this site names a law, regulation or framework — including the UK Online Safety Act, the EU Digital Services Act, the UAE Child Digital Safety Law, COPPA, the REPORT Act, GDPR and GDPR-K, FERPA, CIPA, KCSIE and the Australian and Indonesian online safety regimes — it does so to identify the obligations our customers face and the principles RoseShield was designed around. It is not a representation that RoseShield, ChildSafe.dev or any customer is compliant with that law, and it is not legal advice.

ChildSafe.dev holds no independent certification or accreditation for RoseShield at this time, and does not claim any. Each customer remains responsible for its own compliance, its own data protection impact assessment and its own legal advice.

Interface images, videos, alerts, scores, counts, dashboards and example conversations shown on this website are representative illustrations of pre-release software. Some are animated or reconstructed. They are not recordings of real interactions involving any child, and the people, names, messages and figures in them are invented. Final interfaces, wording and data will differ. Risk scores shown are illustrative and are not calibrated probabilities.

Product names, logos, device images and brands referenced on this site — including Apple, iPhone, iPad, iOS, Google, Android, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and X — are the trademarks of their respective owners. Their use is nominative, to identify applications a parent may wish to manage or a platform RoseShield runs on.

Such use does not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, endorsement by or partnership with those companies. In particular, the appearance of a third-party application name or icon in a RoseShield screen or control does not indicate that RoseShield reads, intercepts, decrypts or inspects content within that application. Where a third-party application appears in a parental control — an app limit, a schedule, a block or a usage summary — the function shown is device-level app management, not access to the contents of that application.

Partnerships, memoranda of understanding, cooperation frameworks, programs and pilots described on this site are stated as at the date of the relevant announcement.
